Celebrate New Year’s Eve on the North Shore!

Check out these inviting New Year’s Eve options for a romantic night out, dancing the night away with a group of friends, enjoying live music and celebrations perfect for kids and families! For the Grown-Ups:
Farmhouse restaurant will offer a New Year’s Eve dinner buffet for $65 per person including a complimentary bottle of bubbly for parties of 4 or more. Found Kitchen is throwing a fabulous 1920’s bohemian Paris-themed party featuring a 5-course shared-plate menu for $65 per person. If you’re in the mood for something equally original, The Peckish Pig will host a Burlesque Bash complete with live music, 3-course menu, champagne toast and of course– a burlesque show! $50 per person for the early dinner and $65 per person for the late dinner and burlesque show. Hearth Restaurant will offer a 5-course dinner including a glass of bubbly for $80 per person starting at 5:00 pm, with the last seating at 10:00 pm– and late diners are welcome to stay until midnight to toast the new year! For a truly romantic evening, Bistro Bordeaux is celebrating the New Year by immersing the entire restaurant in candlelight and tempting guests with several special items in addition to its regular menu. Reservations can be made between 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm, and guests who would like to stay through and beyond midnight will enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne.
Taste on Chestnut will welcome the new year with special 3-course menu for$55 per person, a 4-course menu for $65 per person AND their full a la carte menu. Guests are welcome to stay until midnight to toast 2016. Trifecta Grill will offer its regular menu until 10:00 pm, but will keep the bar open late for extended celebrating. Great for families or casual groups, Little Ricky’s will offer its regular menu with last seating at 10:00 pm. The bar will remain open until midnight for guests who would like to stay out and celebrate!
Firefly Kitchen will be open from 7:00 pm until 1:30 am for a Brooklyn-style New Years Eve, whipping up a tantalizing variety of heavy passed appetizers, a raw bar, beef tenderloin carving and pasta stations, late night snacks and a champagne toast. $60 per person before 12/18, $70 at the door.
Wildfire is offering its regular menu and a variety of grilled-to-perfection special dishes, with last seatings at 11:00 pm. Guests are welcome to stay and toast the New Year with a complimentary glass of bubbly at midnight!
Lively local destination Guildhall will offer its regular menu with a selection of special dishes and live jazz music from 7:00 pm – 1:00 am for late-night festivities.
Always a local favorite, Abigail’s has assembled a dazzling 4-course menu for earlier diners that will include a complimentary glass of champagne. Available seatings are 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Beelow’s Steakhouse will be offering its regular menu and extending its hours for late-night guests, with its last seating at 10:00 pm. Guests who want to stay for the ball drop will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly!
Miramar will offer late-night seating until at least 10:00 pm, featuring their regular menu with a few special surprises. For the 3rd year running, Longitud315 will offer a 5-course menu from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm including a complimentary glass of prosecco, for $75 per person or $130 per couple. They will close at 7:00 and re-open at 10:00 pm for their popular New Year’s Eve party complete with DJ, appetizers, carving stations, side dishes, dessert and glass of champagne for $75 per person or $130 per couple. Party people are welcome to dance and celebrate until 1:00 am. New arrival Ballaro will offer its regular menu plus a few special dishes. Diners may come as late as 10:30 pm and stay to toast the new year with a glass of bubbly!
Westwood Bistro will celebrate with a special 4-course menu and champagne, and extend their celebration until after the ball drops! The Grille on Laurel will offer its regular menu, cozy atmosphere and live music until 11:00 pm.
Local hot spot Innovasi will feature a New Year’s Eve tasting menu for $48 per person, and include a wine pairing for an additional $26 per person. Across the street, Maevery Public House will offer its regular menu as well as a selection of special dishes. The last seating will be at 10:00 pm, and diners are welcome to stay until midnight to toast 2016 at the warm and inviting Maevery bar.
Festivities for Kids and Families:
First Night Evanston kicks off the new year with an incredible array of musical performances, dancing, poetry and celebrations for the whole family at 6 different locations throughout Evanston. Kids celebrations will run from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Your teens won’t want to miss Battle of the Bands and teen improv performances! Tickets are $25 per person before 12/25, $30 per person by 12/31 and $35 per person at the door. Young children attend for free with a paying adult. Michael’s “Red Hot” Balloon Drop in Highland Park will host a family friendly event that will include a DJ, dancing, games, raffle prizes & a balloon drop! Price is $15 for kids under 12 and $20 for adults (includes light apps, kiddie cocktails & an apple juice toast at 6pm)!
Kohl’s Children’s Museum in Glenview will host 2 kids’ sized Times Square parties with huge confetti drop from 8:30 am – 11:00 am and 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm. $17 per person for members, $27 per person for non-members.
Pinstripes in Northbrook will hold a kids’ balloon drop at 8:00 pm and another balloon drop for adults at midnight. Guests will enjoy Pinstripes’ regular menu, bowling, bocce ball and live music from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Barrel Crossing Tap & Grill in Highwood has a family celebration starting at 6p.m. Enjoy a special kids a la carte menu, a ballon drop, sparkling grape juice, party favors, hats, giveaways and more! Adults will enjoy options from a specially prepared pre set 5 course dinner menu paired with bourbons and craft beer (for $60), or may order a la carte off the regular menu, and of course a champagne toast.
